Summed up my year of content creation. There were interesting discoveries, experiments with formats, routine, daily posts, and a bit of virality.
I started the year with virtual photos, short clips of photos, and a small number of networks. Then I expanded to all networks and experimented to understand where and how the traffic comes from, where and what interests the audience, I can hook have. By the end of the year, I had greatly reduced the number of photos and started making long videos with short ones as support.
My idea is to gather a community of RPG fans and then… But don't rush, everything has its time. 😉

There were different experiments: I tried daily posts, only short videos from photos, then funny or beautiful moments from games, a little less often, but with more elaboration and editing. We managed to catch trends successfully, but the year was also generous with cool RPGs, from Awoved, KCD 2 to Oblivion Remastered and Outer Worlds 2. There were unexpected audience bursts on Dune Awakening and Vampire the Masquarade Bloodlines. By the end of the year, I was focusing on big videos and short ones to support them.
I like how I managed to catch the audience I wanted, that the subscribers are gradually growing, that there is feedback (toxic sometimes), that I understand the interests and I have something to show.
One of the best solutions was the use of AI for descriptions and hashtags. I don't know how they work, how YouTube algorithms work, what topics are trending, plus it speeds up the work at times. I think now this will become a necessity from a bonus - if you don't use them, and everyone else does, then you are simply not competitive.

Skyrim and Fallout also worked well

But here, the audience is not at all what I was trying to reach and besides, there is no way to choose an audience. Also, monetization here is too far away, but I will continue to publish as is, because the organic is very good here.

Insights for the last 90 days:

There is a bit of analytics here, but you can't see the big picture. But one thing is clear - only reels work here. Posts and stories are a much smaller share.
Facebook and Threads don't have much effect. But Instagram gives good traffic and auto-reposts are convenient from it, for example, also on Pinterest.

Here I managed to reach an audience of connoisseurs of virtual photography and especially Starfield fans. And the weekly SpaceFrogTuesday was epic throughout the year! But there are also slight movements in other Bethesda games or discussions of news, exhibitions or trending topics. They really don't want me to drive traffic to Youtube or embed a video, but if it's a photo or video with a link to the entire gameplay, for example, then it can work.

There's no analytics here, but I've noticed that photos and sometimes videos work well. I like TES, Diablo and a little bit of Avatar here. In any case, it is possible to attach a video and it is well displayed and played, and it is possible to copy a post from X Twitter with tags.

They love Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (and especially the Hansry tag) and for some reason Avatar. Interestingly, on all other sites, content quickly runs out of steam and is lost, and here even something old can rise. The audience is not large, but it seems to me and feels more loyal.

Here are mainly photographers and they like my photos, but they also watch game videos from time to time. It is convenient that videos and links are immediately embedded. I also like that there are no strict restrictions on the number of characters, plus new followers are gradually added, although there is a fairly high proportion of bots and scammers.
In addition, a unique feature of VERO is the ratings of works. Games, movies and music can be appreciated, add a small overview. Cool!
I will definitely continue to post here, plus it's not very difficult.

It was an interesting discovery for me. Content views are growing very well, the audience turned out to be the most unexpected. An auto-repost from Instagram works here, which I will continue to use. There are no more special plans for it, it is better not to touch what already works)

I've included Instagram auto-reposts since September, so there is no content until that time.

So far, everything is going very slowly here, but someone looks in and some links at least work and give a couple of views. Subscribe - https://www.patreon.com/4546990/join. One planned experiment is to repost all the content here and the second is to add more private, exclusive content soon and throughout the year. I'm open to any suggestions - game reviews, analysis of mechanics, unique art, behind the scenes, photo mode training... There are many options)

I hope you liked it. Here are all the links: https://www.alexcreo.com/links
